My Name

My parents named me Muhammad, because it is after the Islamic prophet Muhammad. My name Muhammad means "praiseworthy" it is a famous Arabic name, it is widely chosen for a male child. I liked my name because it means praiseworthy and it fits with my personality. It is a common name and in most cases it is followed with another name. Praiseworthy is the main character of prophet Muhammad, his also famous for being honest, highly intelligent, patient, modest, courageous, generous, and a lot more remarkable qualities. I would like to follow his example as cited in his books known as "Hadith". The book tells about his teachings and the events of his life carefully and accurately recorded and memorised by his closest companions during his lifetime. "Hadith" is next as important as the Quran for all Muslims. As for my name I
find that most people could remember my name straight away.
