Braille inventions

I was fascinated with braille writing because it looks like dominoes. I come across Braille writings on lift buttons, cover of drinking cups and also street decorations in stainless steel over sized braille. Louis Braille was born on 4 January 1809 in a village in Coupvray near Paris, France.

His father, Simon-Rene Braille was working as craftsman/saddle maker and his mother, Monique Baron-Braille, a housewife. His family was not rich and they lived in a village, he has 4 siblings and Louis Braille was the youngest.

He was a bright boy and his father planned that one day he would become a doctor, and engineer or a scientist. One day he was playing with his father's razor sharp knives in his workshop,
